It's time to reflect on my year of reading. Since I had at least 40 books on my "favorites" shelf this year, I decided to split it up a bit.

Another amazing audiobook. Yeah, yeah... I know it took me a long time to get to this one.












Creepy Tales of Science Fiction (young adult)

Monsters of Men
So glad I finally finished this series. I listened to this one - and I highly recommend the narrators.











The Coldest Girl in Coldtown

Not for squeamish readers, and definitely for older young adult readers. I love vampire novels, and this one has some great additions and changes to traditional vampire lore.

Parent Book Club - Guest Post

Welcome, my friends, to my first ever GUEST POST! My fabulous school librarian (aka @ReaderRoberts ) decided to hold a parent's book club this year, to give parents ideas for getting kids reading. This past week she held the inaugural session, with a  "summer reading"  focus.
