April Poem 2 - Ripples

I stand at the edge of the pond.
Drop in a stone.
Watch the spreading ripples.

I stand in the front of the room,
                                                                                        Speaking, showing,
                                                                                         watching widening eyes.

Ripples spread through the water
                Measureable
                Science and math determining
                Their dance
                                                                            Widening eyes reveal budding passions
                                                                                        Immeasurable
                                                                                        End results only evident
                                                                                        Countless years down the road

I stand at the edge of the pond.
I stand in the front of the room

Drop in a stone
                                                                                                Speaking showing

                                                Actions have endless ripples
                                                            I am content
